    Consequences of a hot UA

What are the consequences of a hot UA?
    -an increase in monitoring ?
    -more UA's per month ?
-Jail (maybe for the second time) ?

Would it depend on the drug you test positive for?

    Any experiences?

Lets just keep it simple.... if your subject to UA or your gonna be subject to UA, don't smoke weed, *PERIOD*. If you do, your putting yourself in a position where somebody is gonna have to do something about it. If the UA is for probation, you can figure that the penalty for getting caught will be to serve out the full sentence, If its for your job, at the least, you'll be in the unemployment line, unless your supervisor decides to turn you in to the police too. Either way, its all common sense and a no brainer to stay straight when your subject to UA.

Don't tell me that you *can't*, I was able to stay straight from 1982 when they first started using UA in the military until 1996 when I retired. I have been self employed since then, so it doesn't matter to me anymore.

Just tryin to fill my head with info... I'm on probation for a fourth DUI.

The thing with a DUI is your monitoring ends when you finish your classes, you might stay on probation for a few months longer but it is unsupervised probation. Anyone heard otherwise?

So I really don't know what they would do. N' I'm not tryin to find out, but shit happens.

OH, maybe they could give you more classes... never heard of that happening tho. Or maybe they would increase your monitoring, like up your UA's per month. I don't know

Just don't smoke anymore... and that's all you can do.

It's really hard to answer your question because probation laws differ from state to state and probation officers can use their own discretion when it comes to the people they meet with.

But let me reiterate.. stop smoking until your probation is over. If you do get caught you said yourself you are on 4th DUI, they will not be as lenient.

I'm still trying to figure out how you got 4 DUIs in the first place. You must be dumb as a box of rocks not to have learned the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd times you drove under the influence....and then you got caught a 4th time??? I got no idea what kind of left handed liberal state you live in, but here in Mississippi, 3 strikes and you out.... the 3rd time, your doing hard time.

Employers CANNOT "turn you in to the police". Unless your job is in the military, the only side effect of a hot Employment Ua is a little inconvenience. You'll only be in the unemployment line if you choose not to get another job, because that hot drop will most likely not be on other employers records.

You will never get the authorities involved when you fail a UA because the lab is not permitted to release any medical records to anybody without your written consent. there is an organization called HIPPA (health insurance portability and privacy act) which insures that your medical records are confidential. if they even mentioned the slightest information regarding your medical records HIPPA would fine the company $100,000.00.

I always get pissed when people think their DR. is gonna rat them out because of a failed UA. the doctor is the last person who has any legal authority because of HIPPA.

South Mississippi is a long way from Spain.
