like i mentioned in a couple of other threads, the government in california sees what the growers and dispensaries bring in cashwise, and they want their big part of it. yes, they may make a few bucks off of the medical patients, but they see what they can make off of ALL of the citizens. medical users are just a small percentage of those who smoke and grow. if you start totalling up what these dispensaries make each week, its mind boggling


plus, californians, even those who dont smoke it are supporting statewide decriminalization. the only ones who ARENT supporting it is the growers,collectives and dispensaries,because as soon as its decriminalized, they no longer can charge $60 bucks+ an 1/8th cause people wont pay that.why would anyone pay $60 bucks an 1.8th for good to decent stuff when they will be able to by the same quality stuff or better at the store, or from their neighbor,ect for say $10 bucks an 1/8th?.. shit, it isnt like anyones got a monopoly on specific strains ( yet, im sure when its decriminalized, everyone will be trying to patent their own strains) and seeds, clones,ect are abundant. clones are SO easy to do. all ya need is one good potent mature plant and your in business. i know guys that have been cloning the same plant for years....the government sees all the tax money that they can collect, thats why it WILL pass come december, just like 420 and 215 did. AB390 got like 5 -6 times more signatures than required to get in in a very short time, meaning the majority of californians are for decriminalization, so you can bet it is going to happen. after california does it, several other states will too, as california always leads the example no matter what the issue is.
