Indoor hydro plant height?
I'm wondering how high is high when it comes to indoor plants...I've got four weeks to go on my two Oasis plants...they now all look quite healthy etc., but they're at 2 and a half feet...I've pinched stems and tied in the past, which is fine...but I have a feeling I still let them get too tall...these Oasis plants have grown shorter than my last two attempts, which is good, but I'm pretty sure I let my last two grows stretch too much...any advice, as I don't want to end up with four foot plants?

Once the plants go into flowering they can double or triple in height. If you want to keep the plant about 4 feet you should probably not veg them anymore than 1 1\2 feet. It varies with different strains, some strains will jump to 6 ft pretty easy. Since most of the plants are grown under ideal conditions with a lot of TLC, they can really get big and bushy and fill up a room pretty easy.
Anymore I am just a closet grower.......so I donā??t do the Big monster crops like others.
You just have to guess how much the plant might grow. Some strains are short and stocky some are big and bushy. If you bought the seeds usually the description will give you an idea about the growth characteristics.
Good luck

Sorry, I should have been clearer. The plants are already flowering...they're now at 2 and half, with three or four more weeks of flowering to go...things are already getting a bit tight height-wise in my setup, and I'm wondering if they're likely to grow up that much more with the time frame I'm working in...if they are going to go up another foot or more, I suppose I better start pinching and bending those stems?

from everything i've learned since i started climbing the dastardly learning curve, i would say you should be ok. with only 4 weeks left until harvest thier virtical growth should be about done and now they should spend thier energies building bud mass

ever try 'emerald triangle's Bushmaster'? i've used in the past with good results. usually i add it to the reservoir the last week or so before switching to flowering. it fills out the plants and keeps stretching to a minimum.( for me they only stretched about 25%) thats just what has worked for me in the past. hope it helps you out.

That's great..many thanks to all of you for responding...I have noticed the past three days show little to no vertical growth, which is terrific...what started out as a problem-filled grow is now working out very smoothly indeed!
