Finally, I'm able to register on this site. I've been a daily smoker for about a year. I quit smoking for 19 days now. I've a few days ago I just found out I've been hired for a nice gov/county/state job. The only problem is that I have to pass a physical and pass a urine test. I've been taking drug tests to see if I'll pass. Of course, I come back negative. I did the detox on Sunday of the Rating: 5

thanks hon. you know how it is, no matter how many times the voice of reason speaks, until you know you passed, you are freaking out.

i can't imagine any rational reason i would come up negative dilute with only drinking 20 oz 2 hours before the test -

and i really can't imagine a full blown positive, but, my mind takes me to terrible places - like, if it is negative dilute, they will run a gc/ms and i'll be outed at 15 ng

and they say weed makes you paranoid. right.

worrying about it won't change a thing and is a waste of time - but i still do it.

well, a posted in another forum who works in lab testing stated they do not automatically go to the lab for gc/ms if negative dilute - negative is negative, and is not "confirmed" negative.

besides, this emp. stated to me that only positive tests go to gc/ms.

i would throw a fit if a negative dilute went to gc/ms, because no one informed me of that.

but, hopefully i am worrying for nothing

have you come across anyone here who went top gc/ms for a (-) dilute?

and what was the result, and what were the circumstances? were you using full blown dilution? were you passing home tests?

I didn't follow the dilution sticky and was chugging water and voiding continuously. This was before I knew about this site and all the information that I have now. I ended up passing the test and it had been 5 days since I smoked.
