If you can visit your outdoor crop once a month, I think that even a little LST-ing will be beneficial. Just bend long pieces of hanger in a U, and use that to stake down the main stem once or twice. But, like in my situation, I really don't think keeping the plants really low is helping my insect problem

Found a bug that used a lower leaf like a cacoon. It was sealed shut and i was like wtf? pried it apart and found some kind of bug using it as its nest. getting pissed to say the least even with organic pesticide.

outdoors can produce some great yields, but it is risky!
