Peculiar Seedling

Hey. I have a peculiar seedling growing right now...

Usually, when the seedling sprouts its true leaves after its seedling-leaves, they come 2 at a time.

Mine came 3 at a time, like this picture i found online.



So, why is this? Is it the strain of weed?

If so, what strain?

I had this happen with some LR 2's, all the ones that did this turned out to be male. Not a guarentee just a heads up.

It has nothing to do with gender expression. I hold about 4 females that showed whorled phyllotaxy when they were immature. The trait becomes difficult to see after the plant hits sexual maturity and the nodes go alternating. When I get one like that, I pinch it at the 5th node, before it reaches sexual maturity, to give it a nice shape with 3 heavy main stems.
