I use the twisty ties also, i tie down everything from the get go. If its a grow that i wont be around much [such as an outside one or so] ill use string...tie it around the bigger branches/stems and pull them apart so light gets all the way through the plant
SunnySativa Reviewed by SunnySativa on . does anyone tie down their fan leaves? i have a large 2 ft plant under 1 hps light. the fan leaves are freakin huge but my friend advised me not to cut them off. i was thinking of tying the down because the leaves underneath seem to not be getting much light. i have heard hps lights are strong enough to penetrate the lower leaves so should i just leave them alone or what?? thanks.
