    How much dirt for lowryder

Ok here is my Question. Since Lowryders are so small in size, heigth do you still need to use 5 gallons of dirt per plant or can that be cut down to like 2 1/2 .or will they get root locked?

    hello,

When LR first broke out on the scene people were growing them in the large "super gulp" cups from 7-11. I would recommend nothing smaller than 1 gallon.

The last group that I grew out were grown in two gallon buckets. They did not become root bound, but certainly filled the pots.

The more root development, the higher your yield will be.

As far as your 2 1/2 foot tall pure LR. I would like to see pics. I have been apart of the growing of several generations of LR and have never seen one grow to be over 16-18 inches tall.

I would suggest using the big one for breeding, you could end up stabilzing the trait. With enough work/time.

    Take care

    Peace

    How much dirt for lowryder

hello , well to be honest the more room for root growth the better realy, however i would say you dont need 5 gallons of the stuff, i grow in 3 gallon square pots and put 2 plants per pot,, i use a top quality compost, say john innes no 2/3 and feed every third water, my plants top out at about between 28 and 36 inches at harvest, after about 6/8 weeks of flowering, if you feed correctly and trim the lower stuff, you should not have a prob, the worst that will happen is they will stay short, but the strain you talk about should not grow big anyway, are you sure of the strain, i have many times brought seed and what i got was not what i was expecting, i now make my own strains, and found that i can get what i want fairly easily, i hope this helps mate, and best of luck, if i can help in any way just let us know .

    How much dirt for lowryder

hello garden knowm, i grow 2 per pot becourse i am a little restricted for space, my closet is only 7ft long by 18 wide, its high enough to grow most weed but its the width, if i grow 2 per pot i dont realy loose out, i have five pots containing ten plants, i average about 1/2 to 1 ounze per pot, i have had more and i have had less, this just seems to work well for me, i only need a 600 w hps to finish them as well, outside in the summer i stick them straight into well dug earth, i get more weed this way, but it takes much longer and the insects just love my stuff, and the weather can be very unreliable in the uk
