Outdoor growing question

I was wondering if you took some bag seed... and just planted it outside in the spring... end of april. Would it be able to grow on its own without any care... since it is just a weed it should have no problem growing on its own right?

that depends on many things m8,,,how much rain does the area recieve?, how much sunlight does your area recieve is it good soil?
is it safe from thieves?

Central Vermont. We get a pretty decent amount of rain in the summer.

m8 if you feel like a your plants could survive without any "help" and they are safe from thieves etc then I would go for it!
