im not gonn spend ages writing a question because i put one in yesterday but it seems to have moved!!!

all i wat to know is how long can i leave my ganja for ??

ie how long does it last sittin there in the bag!!!

and admin if yr going to delte or move my question at least tell me!!

Air(oxygen)/Heat/Light degrades THC. You can store properly cured/dried bud in air-tight glass jars for years. I know, I do it all the time.

Plastic, is not an oxygen barrier....and it depends on how old the weed was when you got it?

Store bud in a cool, dark place.

it was fresh.. fairly damp/sticky so i lost out on weight

would u suggest leaving it in or out of the fridge too?

Well a fridge is a cool dark place, like Dutch Pimp has already said.
But if your bud is still moist you should open the jar and now and then to let the bud air off. :thumbsup:

I never use the fridge...but some growers do.

so i should let it dry completely before storing?

sorry to be pedantic but when you say if i do it right do you mean exactly how youve said so far or do you mean i have to cure it properly too? because im not growin it myself, so i really only have control over the storage method. last time it was quite fresh though so i lost out on weight after it dried.

so as i understand it, i let it dry first. THEN put it in a glass air tight jar. leave it in a dark cool place.. and a ridge isnt too cool but you personally wouldnt put it there..

if i get it and its still fresh/damp/sticky is there anything i can do to ensure its longevity.. other than let it dry first before storing.. is that what curing is?

Generally it's ready to go into jars when the bud stems break with a "snap" after drying...and "burp" the jars, if needed, for a week or two, checking for excess moisture. Comprende?
