08 indoor to outdoor grow

beautiful garden inbud. You must be up in the mountains if you have a short grow season in CA. Mine is pretty short here as well. I am keeping my fingers crossed that some of my girls stay in veg for a bit longer. Wherever you are about when does the flower cycle kick in?

We have had huge amounts of smoke from the fires here in Northern ___, and the plants seem to be doing alright, but i would have perfered them to get bigger before flowering.
All but one or two are in early flower now. The first to flower were the oldest plants. All of the inside seeded plants have gone back to vedging. i have taken the xmas tree and will post pics of it and one other plant i harvested since i last posted here.

This plant was a cross i made from Amethyst and NorthernLights last year. i have three of them left in the garden. This one never grew any larger than 1 foot 9 inches (if i remember correctly). This lil girl had all cloudy trichs when i took her. She was starting to revedge and i did not want that. She gives a nice "heady" high, and you can function well and not feel like you are glued to the couch. When i first smoked her, i reorganized my entire 08 grow photo file.

This plant was my first purps harvested. This is also my attempt at FIM technique. I got four very nice cola's and like the Amethyst above, it showed signs of revedging so i took it last week. Most of the other plants (late clones) in the garden are now just starting to flower and the oldest plants (put out in March?April?) are into flowering heavy (pic 4).

Tho i did not get a purple color from this plant (the buds anyway, the stems were real purple), the aroma is sweet and grape like. The trichs were maybe fifty fifty clear cloudy. the high is mental, tho it seems a nap is in order after bout an hour from smoking. I took her early because she was revedging and i must make room for the new clones to start flowering.

Six plants bit the dust today. Had to do it, they were just not the biggest in the garden. Next year, not gonna start plants early. Gonna do all clones. Am bummed, tho the plants are drying on a screen and will be used for hash after the full harvest in the fall. One, the Amethyst looked good enough to hang. She had only started to revedge on top. So she is drying and we will try her out in about a week. The others.....hash.:hippy:
