wow, looking really good! the purple looks amazing. with the yellowing leaves, i was told this is normal toward the maturing stage, and i have also been picking dry, dead leaves off all my plants daily, so i think its a normal thing.
lets compare crops, when we're both done? probably going to be finishing within a week or two of eachother.

Thanks for coming by and taking a look.
We could compare if you like.....i have one that looks like a northernLights, she is pictured above.
All Girls got ChaChing last night at half strength, and Purple Max at 1/2 teaspoon per gallon (see no purpling on leaves, the dark purple on the oldest amethyst bud is really dark). Also added in the molassas, at 1 Tablespoon per gallon. Next feeding they will get Dr. Hornby's Big Bud (last two weeks of feeding for the older plants). This is 0-40-10, I think, if i remember right.
Seems like the oldest Purps (from seed) bud is not getting bigger. Seems like the Purps clones bud have caught up with her in size. :hippy:

The plants are all in containers. Some the regular ones you get from nurseries (15 gal, I think, that trees come in). There are three in very large pots, I would say 25 gallons or so (from Home Depot). Then I have two in big Hydro pots I got from the Hydro store, actually have three but only using two now. Where I am, I dont have good top soil and if I dig into the ground where it is flat out there, I am pretty sure I will hit my septic tank or leach feild and the husband says that is a big no no. So, for now, pots it is. Been thinking bout a raised bed system....just thinking now. Oh, and I also used mostly OceanForest soil with some HappyFrog added in, some plants also have mushroom compost too.
As for root bound, I am sure they are quite crowded. I see their roots on top when I water. I feed these plants every week, so I never considered that being root bound would be a problem. The three biggest plants have actually been in the same pot since April and they were six inches or so. If they were in the ground, they would be at least twice their size or more.
Thanks for looking in on my grow. :hippy:
Last year, was my first serious year growing (have grown one plant a year for a few years but not serious like now) and I didnt do to well at all, tho I finished the year out with a few ounces. But I did learn alot about revedging and harvesting/curing. This year, I am hoping for 3 pounds, but am pretty sure I wont get it.

5 gallons should be plenty! i dont think it was a rootbound problem that caused it to go hermie. do you have a thread with this plant? or at least pictures to start a thread? im kinda interested now

1 - 2 Amethyst x NorthernLights
3 - 4 Purps
5. Sea of Purps
The only thing out there happening right now....
IS the Leaves are drying up and falling off. At least they are not doing it all in one day. Hopefully there will be some leaves left when harvest comes around.

Due to certain circumstances beyond my control, I will be harvesting three plants this week. :hippy:
1. a Purps, "new clone" (done today, pics below)
2. an unknown, i thot was a purps, but it looks different.
3. a sugar grandaddy purple, the smallest.
All three have cloudy trichs, but I am sure they are early.
