Quick Advice needed-shop waiting for my answer! Please!

    Hey again!

I have a dilemma- I ordered a 200w Envirolite + reflector, but the shop emailed me today to say they have no 200w left, only 150w of their own bard- which is apparently just as good. They are offering me 2x 150w instead of the 1x200w - but the reflector only holds one bulb.

    Do I:

    1) Take those- use the 150w in the reflector and use the other one near the bottom/side of the plant.

    OR

    2) Ask for the reflector, and get them to send me the 200w Enviro when it comes into stock.

The thing is, these are for the Red spectrum, so I want to get as much light as possible for flowering- but which option is best for a single plant?

    Thanks!

If you have the option to use two lights i think that might be better if both options are of pretty much the same spectrum. 150 x 2 is more light than 200 x1. you definitely want the most light you can get especially with cfls since they arent as effective as HID at penetrating the leaf canopy. do you have another socket for the other bulb to plug into?

Ye, I have another plug-in lead. I was just unsure because I wanted to get as much light coming from the top as possible, and now its going to be 150w not 200w.

The other problem is- the 50cm reflector is 1cm too big!, I only have about 49.5cm width/length in the cupboard- so ill have to awkwardly fit the reflector into the space, and itl be at an angle like:

    | = wall
    / = reflector

    |/|

Really annoying, but I have no other choice.

Ill email the guy within the next hour or so and tell him to send the 2x 150w's.

bummer about the 1cm. although its only 1cm so you only have to tilt it a little bit
