DWC root rot

friend of mine has a H. Kush clones in a 5 gallon DWC system It is a 3 week old clone. The roots have first browned then fallen off. The plant although small looks healthy. I was wondering if after he treats the roots with sm 90 could he transplant into soil?

3 weeks and the roots have all fallen off? Depends how big it was, but the likelyhood of recovery is slim. If he can, he should try and get some clones off it.
