Help Needed Please...

Hi ppl i need to know how i could get cfl to work through a plug socket/ wall plug . OR can you tell me what the ready made lampholder and plugs are called. Ive typed in cfl plug and socket, cfl lampholder adapter, cfl adapter, cfl powercord and plug on google but the results i got were jus redirecting me to this site not to any stores so help is needed plz.

Just ask in any electrical wholesalers or hydroponic's shop i am sure they will have them in stock.

If you're talking about envirolite's then you need a special socket (E 40) which you can get from a hydro store or from ebay, (if you look in the lighting or lighting accessories page of an online hydro store you'll find them) you can get them prewired with a plug on them, I'm not sure if you can get the components to build one at general hardware shops tho.

If you're talking about regular energy saving cfl's that you'd use around the home then just a normal socket, wire and plug can be purchased from pretty much any hardware shop.

It you would be best to go to a Hydroponics store then you will get the right flex cable to go with the lamp which i think is 2.5 mil.
