The pad that comes with QF is pretty slow. Maybe 45 minutes to get it up to temp. I've experimented with some the cheap pads at dollar stores and they'll heat it up in about 10 minutes. If you put it in your crotch just nuke it for about 10 seconds first. You won't need the heater for a couple hours.
