    It depends on your grow room, how big do you want the plants to be when they've finished flowering. Plants will double or triple in height from when you start flowering to when you harvest so this is usually a determining factor. So you've got 4 ft of growing height, (after you've subtracted the height of the pots, space your lights will take up and the distance you need to leave between your lights and the top of your plants from the actual height of your grow room) You'd probably want to flower when they get to around 16"
