    i inherited 4 plants...help?

okay so my roommate was growing 4 plants in his closet up until yesterday when he randomly decided to throw a bitch fit, pack up his stuff and move back to his parents house. the only thing he left was in his closet. (see attached pics) i dont know how well he has cared for these plants so far. i dont know the age or strain of the plants, and i dont know the condition of the plants or soil.

it was a lazy setup and their are 4 plants in one 20"x8" pot. there is only a little more than 4 inches of soil in the pot. a few of the plants look pretty healthy to me, but i have never grown before and have only seen a handful of grows IRL. i would like to step in and raise these plants to be something great, but i dont know how possible that is. to the best of my knowledge they were grown so far on 24hour low power florescent lighting. the last two days i began attempting to keep the pot under a window where it will recieve approximately 12 hours of sunlight. i have also been paying them lots of attention; watering carefuly, breathing on them, letting them get a breeze and fresh air instead of locked in a cabinet stuck in a closet, and smoking some ganja with them (blowing smoke over them to promote thc production).

i guess i just need the help of some more experienced individuals to give a word of advice on what i should do.

in my opinion, i would think i need to separate the plants. i need to get appropriate sized pots (maybe 5 gallon buckets?) i would like to move these outside but i dont know if these would handle the stress.

any suggestions on what i should do??

im having trouble uploading pics atm. ill get it, be patient. but until then, any advice strictly on the information iv provided?

Blowing smoke on plants to promote resin production is a myth. They want clean, fresh air. Read up! There's a link in my sig that should help you a lot.

put pics up on a free image hosting site. You can't upload images here until you have 50 or so posts I believe.

But yes, these plants will have to be seperated but into what size pot will depend on what the pictures show us.

Until then start reading.. reading.. reading the information on this site.. If you spend a whole morning (8am-noon). You could pick up the basics at least; which will save you a bit of headache.

Spend alot of time reading in the basic growing section, indoor growing section and plant problems section. You'll be glad you did.
