So I went up to the store and noticed across the street in a parking lot was 2 cops sitting facing the store.They were out of there car with some kinda camara pointed at the window,so I walked in the store and the gas station atendant leaned over the counter and wishpered "Hey,don't get a blunt wrap or ciggerelo they are wacthing pepole and taking down there tags."she siad softly.Well why I asked."Becuase pepole have been dealing up here so know they are wacthing the store."

Is this legel for them to do?

Yes, I would guess that it is perfectly legal for them to do that. It would be just as legal for you or anyone else to do it also. All they are doing is taking pictures in public and writing down publicly available information (license plate numbers).

Now what would be illegal would be for them to search someone's house simply because he or she bought a ciggerelo or wrap. However, what they might do is start watching the person more carefully, etc. in order to eventually build up enough evidence for a search warrant.

I have a feeling they would be going for people who buy like 30 blunt wraps at a time though; they're probably looking for people who are "manufacturing for sale".

Actually, I really appreciate cops. They are some dedicated mofo's who put their lives on the line to keep the peace. The violent crimes they help solve and prevent are what keeps order in society.

I say fuck the drug laws, and fuck the representatives our country has elected that passed them... and fuck the idiots who voted for those people. The cops are not the bad guys. Think of them like Barney Fife... well intentioned, do a lot of good, try to do a good job, but not usually the sharpest tacks if you know what I mean. I can't really blame the cops, even though sometimes I want to.

Of course there are some corrupt cops... and yes, ... fuck them.

You could not be more wrong if you think the way to change the laws in this country is to just say "fuck you" to everyone who disagrees with you about those laws. That is how you ensure cannabis never, ever gets legalized. So I guess I take back even saying "fuck the congress" and all that. The only way to change hearts and minds is to actually discuss the issues with the people who disagree with you. Let them know you are civilized, kind, gentle, and thoughtful... convince them by speaking about the facts (which are in our favor), not by insulting their very personalities... because when you do that to them you lose all credibility in their eyes.

Believe it or not there are good people who have been deceived by public campaigns into thinking cannabis is terribly bad.

Most of the country, sadly, does not want marijuana totally and completely legalized. The people making headway in the battle for legalization are not the people with your attitude, they are the people who are calmly and collectively working for change.

My brother in law is A.T.F and was a cop first.My sister works for the police.With that being said Fuck all of them!There are a few that deal with murder and extreme violent crimes but most just pull people over play god and love busting people.My sister always speeds and gets pulled over, they see its her and they say oh its you, see you at work.My brother in law A.T.F loves to kick doors down and shot your house dog.Both the members in my family talk shit about others in our family because they smoke and say they would bust them given the chance.Both law enforcement members of my family take prescription pain killers to get high fuck them hypocrites!Sorry about the rant F.T.P!

actually i'll give you insight into this subject cuz i worked at a convenience store for a while.....every cop i knew that went in there actually told us to keep an eye out for ANY person buying wraps (im no snitch) but one kid i didnt care for might have gotten busted and the only reason for suspicion was the blunt wrap....i hide em with my weed...

There is something much more going on there than you know. You need to go to another gas station around town or order them confidentially online from another source. There is much more going on there. Police are trained in academies to believe that marijuana is a gateway drug. They may also be stealing people's stuff to smoke. Honestly though there is something wrong there. I am assuming you live in a small town and that maybe your only source for papers but it is not worth the trouble. My best advice - do not go back and find another route. I assume you got it anyways and left. Well now they are watching you. Yes they can do that but they cannot harass you. Unfortunately if there is a reason for them to be suspicious then as long as they stay within their jurisdiction they can make a big deal out of it. Do not give them a reason to.
