    SUPERCOOLED HORTICULTURE LIGHTS!!!!

    Alrighty....

If LED's were a no go...and I was looking for the coolest possible solution (least heat signature), which light setup (HID or T5) would produce less heat? I would really like to go with HID, but I am not willing to compromise on heat for....reasons...anyway! Let's get this sucker rollin!

why a no go? if its finance i kinda understand, but if its growth youre worried about check the link in signature...the air leaving the closet is the same as the thermostat in the house

other than that, it would be T5's as they produce much less heat than HIDs. glad to hear theres a new gorilla grower:thumbsup:

    SUPERCOOLED HORTICULTURE LIGHTS!!!!

If that is the case....I have researched T5 grow tubes to the point that I see most (the agrosun and others) T5 tubes are gossly overpriced for the "increased" quality of spectral distribution. One lamp that has interested me is the Agromax grow and bloom T5 available at a few places i have looked. Are there any reaaalllyyy cheap....say 5 bucks a pack of 8 lol  T5 lights I could go pick up for an 8 lamp sys.? That would be nice....

are you worried about heat for the plants
or are you worried about heat signature from the air(cops)

if you are worried about cops then you can get some antidetection foil that can block your signatures

I second that T5's are the coolest if you can't use LEDS
