Can the Marijuana stance change with a Democrat for pres?
There's just as much of a chance for Obama to support it as McCain. Literal translation - there's practically no hope that we'll see initiatives from either of them should they make it into office. Best thing to do, in my opinion, is to keep championing for individualized state rights. Once all the state governments (or at least most of them) have allowed MMJ, or at least decriminalized possession, then I think we have a far better chance of seeing the federal government easing up on it.
As an aside, the stance of legalization shouldn't be carry much weight when deciding which political candidate can best run this country. There are other and much more important issues to take into consideration.
