COCOGROW
Thought I'd try a new medium this cycle. This is a fine mixture of coco and can be used with hand watering.
Took cuttings and placed in coco as I do with PromixHP. Withing 4 hours they wilted. Starting to come back now (3 days). Scared the hell out of me. It's been a very long time since I've seen this reaction.
Not sure as to why it happened this time but the cuttings are comming back and I assume it's the change in medium.
I don't use a humity dome as I take larger cuttings than most and Ijust mist them several times a day for the first 4 or 5 days.
I'd say the cost is comparable to other mediums. I purchased a 2 kilo block. Cut 1/3 of it off and used to fill 54 18oz cups. Cost equals about $14.00 for the block.
I plan to transplant 2 times and will continue with the cocogrow, perhaps adding some perlite, and will let you know how it goes.grey1223 Reviewed by grey1223 on .
