    HELP Please!!

For the seedlings to go limp and fall over like that, I'm thinking it's got something to do with the soil drying out so quickly. When the plants are older and larger, it's not quite so detrimental to miss a watering. It's obviously not recommended, but you can usually just water again and watch the plants perk back up. But seedlings sometimes can't tolerate dry spells, and may not be so quick to regain turgidity... if they recover at all.

I'd take out one or two of the lights you're using until the seedlings have had a chance to grow a little larger and you've worked out your ventilation issues. If you only have a couple of seedlings, less light won't hurt anything, and should help to keep temperatures and evaporation in check. I use 4-23w CFLs to sprout 10 or more seeds, and they do very well at that. I could probably do with less if I needed to. Try to figure out how you can keep the temps under 80F with the amount of light you're using, and be sure to stay on top of waterings at all costs. Worst case scenario, if these seedlings do not recover, you might think about using slightly less perlite next time around. Definitely still add it to the soil, but not so much that the medium needs to be watered so frequently.

Good luck, and take care.
