thanks dj, I suppose you haven't seen any of my previous grows
used to grow huge crops in my backyard, which was probably one of the worst mistakes I have ever made. got ripped off, and then one year got both ripped off and busted (kids that ripped me off got pinched, hammer came down on me).
update.

yes greenatik, I'm watering by hand, but for the last week I haven't been watering them much at all - it's raining now and it has rained heavily almost every day.

but yeah, these beasts are 100% hand watered. never used a hose, tap, or anything like that.

Looking mighty fine there amigo! I've been an indoor hydro type for many, many years since I live in an urban area... makes me want to sell all my shit and move back to the sticks where I grew up - the sun is free and the plants grow like monsters!

cthulhu, those DoubleGums are lookin' mighty blue! All of your plants are absolutely beautiful! I have seen some true amazonian ladies grown outdoors, but for the most party, they are tall and lean. Your ladies are bushy as hell! I am envious of your crop, my friend! You will be in the green for a while to come!

thanks MVP and jakezking.
they're looking blue? kind of, I guess. the goal for the DoubleGums is pink, and it looks like we've already met that goal
chicken wire is in a mess, I'll probably get some more and fix it tonight. can't leave it open for long, since I know there are critters close, I noticed some different looking prints in a mud puddle infront of the plot. they don't look like a rabbits paw, they look more like a raccoon or possums foot.
