1) Usually takes about 2-3 days for me, with an occasional one cracking the shell no earlier than Day 5. After that, I give up on them.

2) Don't worry about the amount of sun that the plants get, as they'll gladly eat up every bit of light they can. Instead, make sure that the hot Florida sun doesn't allow the soil to get too dry.

3) Estrogen is a human hormone... not a plant hormone! It won't make your plants more 'girlie', and the buds may just make you sprout a pair of breasts after you've smoked them! (j/k :jointsmile Seriously, leave the estrogen out of the mix. It, in no way, will influence sex in these plants.

I've tried to grow a few times, but my attempts have been fruitless, as my plants have died once they were about 6 inches tall. It was my fault mostly. Either overwater, over firtilizing, and once a raccoon ate them. So this time, I am embarking with as much knowlege as possible.
