    wondering about my plant

hey, im pretty new here, but got a single plant going in my room. Havn't paid too much attention to it, mostly due to it being bagseed and a miricle it even germed lol. just water and a 10-15-10 nute and this is where it sits. im just wondering what stage the plant is in. it has showed its female, with white hairs on the nodes, so im guessing flowering. but how far along is it? its around 15 inches high, and the leaves don't look the greatest. but it is still going on strong. using 7 cfl bulbs. should i switch to 12/12?

sorry for the blurry pictures. will try to get some better ones up. these are off a camara phone.

U got very lucky considering the source (bag seed) u have a female in the beginning stages of flowering. Beter take good care of her or she will disapoint u. Lower the lights a few inches, get some big bloom, open sesame from FF, and go to a 12/12 lighting schedule now. Total darkness is the key.....

Now that I look at ur pic again ur lights r the right hight. It would be nice to have some light at the center and lower area. bath ur female in CFL. It will become much fuller. With CFL as ur female grow the light will not rwach the middle and lower branches. Another 40.00 in foxfarm and a couple more cfl's and u will have something to be proud of. Looks just like one i had - once i used FF nutrients - big bloom, open seseme and surrounded it with light it doubled in height almost, and became a very full figured female.

A seed is a seed is a seed is a seed. Luck played no part in it. Nature determines the ability to germinate and the sex of a seed.

I've germed about 95% of all my bagseed... (keeping them alive was another matter, but this was my own fault due to being an inexpierenced grower).

    Don't spread misinformation.

Or how about he gently grabs the top and bends it over so the plant is at a 90 degree angle before putting it into 12/12. AKA the training technique known as LST (Low Stress Training). This will allow you to keep your lights where they're at while providing light to the entire plant. You'll probably end up with multiple main cola's as well.

FYI, plants will double or triple in height in flowering regardless (unless you just don't care for them).

Personally I wouldn't take this guys advice. This particular post from him is not wrong or incorrect, but there are much better ways to go about things.
