Yessir, seeds will only be produced where pollen is applied. When males flower in the same room as females, fans and drafts are enough to carry the pollen all over the female flowers, thereby pollinating practically everything in sight, and also potentially leading to hundreds of seeds.

When pollinated individually, only the bud sites that got the pollen will produce the seeds. All other bud sites will be seedless sensimilla. Paintbrushes, Q-tips, and similar little applicators work great for this purpose.
