It all depends upon the pipe. If it's small no carb is needed, but if it's got a big chamber like some of my bubblers than a carb is a good thing

I prefer a carbed pipe, it seems to give you a bigger hit and make the weed last a little longer, might just be the state of mind, but I rather enjoy a carbed pipe.
