as long as you dont damage much more, the plant should repair itself

how did you do it? from watering?

A whole four posts into your existence on these boards, and you feel obliged to answer a persons question with this? ostexcuseme:

Smokealot: I wouldn't give up on it unless it is truly dead. If its still producing some green growth, then it has a chance. It IS a weed, after all. They can be some resilient little bastards. Hopefully, worst case scenario, you'll just end up with a seedling that grows slightly slower than the rest. But again, if it still has the ability to grow, then it has a chance.

sounds like you broke off one of the cotyldons, which hold the plant's necessary nutrients for the first 2 weeks or so ... don't worry, I've had a few grow perfectly with one missing ... shouldn't be a biggie

cool, the reason one of the cotyldons (sp) broke was when it first came up it looked all messed up and pointing down at the soil and not up at the sun.. so i thought i would help it open up and point upwards but it snapped off, o well she's still going well and don't show any signs of stopping

thanks for the info all thats awesome also thanks to spell check lol

Sometimes it's best to cull a slow grower that's taking up space and time, but then again, sometimes every plant counts. In the early stages, it's pretty crazy the abuse they can take and still make a complete turnaround. Like I mentioned earlier, if it's still growing, then there's still hope!

Best of luck with your grow, by the way.
