Completely a false statement. How can you honestly say this??:wtf:

Sunni tribes now acting as part of the government, they have their OWN constitution, voted in national elections, provincial elections coming at the end of the year, etc.....

    Have a good one!:s4:

And it could succeed at any second, too.

One good indicator of how it's going...look to see whose changing their tactics. Now the terrorists are recruiting women to do the 'dirty work' of homicide bombings. F*cking ineffective cowards.

Virtually no IED deaths of late, fewer attacks on Iraqi police/recruits, crime rates dropping in area's patrolled by the militias, crackdown on extremist militias is still ongoing, schools still open, markets still open, political reconcilliation still ongoing, oil still being pumped, and, Iraq is still close enough to Iran to use as a forward operating base to attack when time is right...
Sounds to me like all is going a tad bit better than the liberal hacks desire it to be.

So fish...two questions regarding the civilian deaths:
Last week, how many 'innocent' Iraqi citizens were reported killed in violent acts?
Last week, how many 'innocent' Chicago citizens were reported killed in violent acts?

505 deaths in Iraq for last week the deadliest of the year. Now i know Chicago is a violent city but not like Iraq.....So if 505 deaths for one week is your idea of progress then hey Iraq is a hell of a place.....

And you are positive all of those are innocents, as my question stated...?
(fighting among militias and combatants don't count as 'innocents')

Rusty no im not positive that those 505 deaths are all innocent victims probably not but thats not the point. Those people and many more would still be alive today if not for the illegal war your country had started. But lets not get off topic here, things in iraq are still a mess and a different approach has to be taken, either send in 300-400 thousand more troops or get out...

Glasses, check those rose collored glasses at the desk. Al-Sader has just said if the government troops dont back off he'll start full scale war. Al-Queda has called for 100 days of killing to begin now, focusing especially on US troops. Read that in my local paper this week on pages 14 and 16 respectfully, not even enough substance to put on the front page. and you say the media isn't biased towards the right. Trying to keep this noise off the front pages so McCain (And you) can brag about how great things are going, yeah right. Just keep piling that sand around your neck so theres no chance of pulling your head out.
