two t8 high output CFL lights too little?

I was wondering if this set up, two (2) t8 high output CFL lights, was too little of lighting for a setup of lowryders?

From what I'm reading it doesn't seem like CFLs do anything but any input would be extremely helpful thanks:thumbsup:

i dont really understand the question whether its space or the amount of light(ive been smoking a bit too much so if made a mistake my bad). But if your talking bout the amount of light, cfls can work very well for the veg stage just get some reflective sheeting.

And some people even grow with cfls in the flowering stage. So if i was u i would use them for the first 2weeks den get a few more cfls, den use them for anuva 1,2 or 3 weeks(depending on when you decide to flower), then when u change the hours of light to 12/12, try and buy a high pressure sodium lamp, if not buy a few more cfls, it depends how many plants your doing.

But most people would say get a sodium lamp, its just more effective, but cfls do work, and work evenbetter with reflective sheeting, mylar or you can use kitchen foil until you get some mylar

Are you asking about t-8's or cfl's? They are two different things.
Either t-8's OR cfl's will be great for vegging your plants. Just be sure you have at least 50 to 100W (actual watts, not 'equivalent' watts) per square foot of plant canopy.
