how much and when to water ?

ok i was just wondering how much i should water the plants i planted 5 plants and so far only 4 have came up they are just seedlings maybe about an ince tall i was just wondering how much i should water them and how often ?

1.788 milliliters every 3 and a quarter minutes for 10 minutes every hour on even numbered days.

I keed, I keed. Check the soil with your finger, dig in a few inches. If it feels wet, it is, don't water it. When the soil feels dry, water. As for how much.. First make sure you have holes in the bottom of your container so that excess water doesn't pool at the bottom. I always water until a little bit runs out the holes.

Although, this advice only applies if you have them planted in small containers. If you threw the beans into a big pot it probably isn't a good idea to soak the whole thing.

As for your seed that hasn't sprouted yet, keep the soil fairly moist at all times. Not soaking wet, but not dry either. When it pops out of the soil then let it dry out, then water, then dry out, ect...

ok i got ya thanx for tha info i was also if what im doing is bad for the lil seedlings well see i put them in my window durign tha day so they can get some good light and then at night i put it under this light that i have will this hurt tha plants ?

they are gonna stretch real bad in the window.. what kind of light do you have on them at night?

i do the same thing with the same bulbs and on the window sill. mine is about the same size as yours but it seems to be growing very well and when it gats dark and goes under the cfl, i dont think it will stretch so badly under that. we may have a problem later with the window sill (mainly the plants not fitting on the window sill anymore!) so i may keep mine under the cfl 18 hours a day then. (or place on a cabinet near the window) but as of nnow i have no problems. what strain is it that you are growing?

yeah i just need to keep them inside a lil longer then im gonna plant them outdoors cuz i cant grow them indoors and i really do not know its only some good bagseed this is only my first grow so im hopeing it turns out well if not ill just have to try agian till i get it right thanx for tha help ppl
