2012...the end of the world?
I believe some of nostradamus' quatrains were interpreted to have said the year 2000 would be the end of the world.

Laughing? The Mayan Calendar was much more accurate than our own. Also the mayan culture was heavily into math. Everything they did was based off math. Very intelligent culture.

Also something most people may find interesting is that the Mayan Calendar accurately predicted the arrival of the Conquistadors as well as the end of their own civilization as well as many other predictions.
While I don't place my faith in believing the end of the world is going to occur in 2012; I do feel there may be something to this calendar that we are not seeing immediatley.
Also; while I am not a religious man I would never fault someone for their beliefs. I just choose to keep my mouth shut and respect their beliefs. The fact that you felt the need to hop on an internet forum and mock a person for their belief.. their faith while hiding behind your keyboard shows exactly the type of person you are and the amount of depth you have to your character. You are pathetic sir; apparently incapable of intelligent conversation and thinking beyond what you see in front of you.

Cool vid, but I'd say the evidence is weak. If you wikipedia planet X, you will find that the discrepencies in the orbit of Neptune have been accounted for since then.

Although, all of Bush's actions would make sense if we was doing them to get ready for planet X.

Faith is different for everyone. For him it is a belief in Christ and God. For someone else it might be staying true to an ideal and yet for another person it could be believing in nature and respecting the perpetual cycle of life and death; how our bodies become one with the earth and new life is reborn from it.if there is a creator, no man can tell me who or what it is. thats why i think religion is laughable. you put your faith not into God, but in the men who say there is a God. think about it.
I am me... I will become all sort've thing.
I think your reasoning for not following religion is valid. Arrogance towards those who do participate in religion that irritates me.

I understand what you're trying to say, but I believe that the men who tell me there is a God were all divinely inspired, and many of whom have made some very accurate predictions of the future. I can tell you exactly who God is preached as being, but I can't offer much in the way of tangible evidence that couldn't be misconstrued as phenomena, beauty in nature, etc. I respect your lack of beliefs, and won't bother further hijacking this dudes thread to try and prove otherwise. I just hope that in the future you also choose to respect the beliefs of those you disagree with.

ok now this man is asking about 2012 and was asking for some elses view,he may have been a Christian.I understand the belief of Jesus and the Rapture may sound strange, but I believe it will happend after the Tribulation period,on the day of the Lord. Now certain Churchs have strayed away from horribly! It is almost aplaing some of the things have witnessed,I have heard,my wife experianced...ect.)in a certain church!I can kinda understand why pepole are turned off by Relgion.
Like I siad it will not be long before this begains, and I believe all men was face this period.God is going to reviel alot of things to mankind,he already has.How many more signs do you honestly need to see our Earth is pretty much unsavable, war is eminit
And the Mayan were very accurate BUT so was the Bible! This solictice will be the biggest of all solicitces! It will be truley astronical BUT truley devestating. The signs are already here.
