mold?

Ok so sorry I didnt know the exact place to put this but this section seemed right, if its wrong the mods can move it. (thank you awesome mods)
So I picked up an ounce today, it is nice, green, and has little orange hairs, but it is brick weed, so it was cheap. I was looking through all the buds when I soon realized something.... a few little leafs on some of the buds were black.
they didnt smell any different from what I could tell. they also had the same texture. So my question to you guys is "is this mold?"
if its not is it safe? or should I just call those small buds a loss.

Mold is in most cases white, but you never know. Smell it, does it smell the same as bud without the black spots? If it smells okay its usually okay, but dont risk it if you dont want to

thanks alot, I just trimmed the little leaves.
I wasnt sure 100% so I just trimmed it.

the only mold iv ever seen on weed would have to be blue mold.. its happened twice to me. they look like blue dots,
