Need some quick advice/help

Hey guys, i dont need a lot of information, maybe an opinion on how my seedling looks. It is a week old and is growing outdoors with at least 12 hours of sunlight. I want to know if it looks good for the age or if i should be doing something different. I am a new grower and have been looking at almost every thread on this website but i feel i need some personal advice :thumbsup:

A little blurry, but that looks like a cannabis seedling to me! Make sure that the spot you've chosen to keep it in is able to get ample sunlight throughout the day. Seedlings grow small at first, but they'll eventually be eating up every bit of light they can get their grubby little leaves on.

The threads on these boards are excellent sources for finding out how other growers practice their art, so definitely keep reading. The FAQs are also a great resource for those new to the hobby. Be sure to check those out, too.

Yep it is defiantly a cannabis seed, unless the stuff i was smoking wasnt marijuana. :smokin: just kiddin. so does it look good for one week old? I am also thinking about bringing it inside and putting it on a 23 watt cfl at night but the problem was, i had/have 4 more "plants" that i started with that one also and at first i put the cfl on them during night and 3/4 of them looked dead so i just left them outside to see if they could regain their energy since they were just yellow/orange. any advice?

Hmm... well, I'm pretty sure there's another reason behind the sickly look of the other seedlings. Was there a big temperature difference between the outside and inside where the light was? I'm wondering if maybe that played a part in it. I start all my seedlings out under CFLs, usually 4-23w CFLs for 10 seedlings, and keep them there until they have at least two sets of true (serrated) leaves. That's always worked just fine for me.

As for the outside seedling, I really can't tell whether or not it's on track... since I've never used just sunlight alone. Well, I did once... but it was a complete disaster. Anyway, maybe someone else can chime in and give you some advice based on their experience. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
