Skin Problem, is it due to smoking?

    Hi Guys

Does anybody know if smoking certain strains can cause skin problems? I've started to have really dry skin and the itching is driving me made. I've been to the doctors and have given some blood for testing but I'm wondering what's changed in my life style recently and the only thing that I can tie together with the start of the problem is smoking my new harvest. Could this be the cause? I suppose the only way is to stop smoking it for a while

Has your diet or activity level changed significantly? Basically, are you doing things that could leave you dehydrated? Salty snack food, caffeine, alcohol, hotter temps, more exercise, simply not enough water in your diet?

    Hi Stinky,

Thanks for the reply. No, I can't think for anything that's changed, I try and eat a clean diet and drink lots of water. The only other things I've drunk a few more Vodka and cokes lately. Anyway, the doctor gave me some stuff to put in the bath and some cream to use that's has help enormously, at least I can get a good nights sleep now, and my skin doesn't feel so angry. Perhaps the blood test will show something up.

Cannabis can dehydrate. Drink more water than you do when you are not smoking.

Stress can cause skin problems, too. Try thinking about stress, physical or mental, that might be in the back of your mind (or squarely in front of it, for that matter). Resolve those.

Failing resolving your stress, there is an excellent supplement called Relora, which has helped me a lot, and also St. John's Wort for depression. Also: Relora can help you lose abdominal weight (the unhealthy kind).

Try using virgin coconut oil as a moisturizer. It's excellent.

Stress, that could be the reason as I find myself alone again after 28 years. I'm having to ask myself a lot of questions about the future and what life has in store for me now.

Oh god, I starting to tell people, well that's a start.

Stress plays havoc with our bodies. I highly recommend the nutritional supplements I mentioned above; you might also want to research others yourself.

Make sure you are being conscientious about your nutritional habits.

    Include:
    - multivitamin and mineral supplement
    - organic veggies and fruits (raw is usually better)
    - free-range meats or complete vegetarian protein sources
    - healthy fats (hemp seed and hemp oil are a great source!); fat is really good for skin so don't be afraid to eat some
    - vitamin C
    - fiber

Avoid common allergens like dairy and wheat, if applicable.
Do consider food sensitivities - they can cause lots of skin trouble.
