    pruning and pics..

Here are some pics we did a little pruning.. Perhaps a little late.. 6 weeks into flowering pruning consisted of taking four fan leaves from around the middle of the plant. I've never pruned anything so I have no clue if this will help or hurt, just attempting to get light to the lower budsites.. comments or ideas? Top two are before and the bottom two are after the middle is just a beautiful bud for you all..

Next time, I'd recommend trying to train the fan leaves away from the bud sites that are needing more light. The plant relies on the sugars in the fan leaves right up until the very end, and too much stripping of healthy leaves can lead to stress, which in turn can lead to hermaphrodites. You're six weeks in, so you're probably fine, but next time maybe think about only clipping one or two if you absolutely have to. I generally just tuck the fan leaves under a branch, so that it's out of the way of the lower buds.

    Take care.
