paint it with flat-white paint, you'll be glad you did :thumbsup: ... Mylar is a pain in the ass to keep clean, and dulls after awhile, drastically losing reflectivity ... I bought very expensive brand-name Mylar (the best) ... less than two years later, my bluejeans would reflect more light ... even when new, it only is a couple % better than the flat-white, anyway ... Mylar ?, never again
the image reaper Reviewed by the image reaper on . chrome thermal blankets ok, so i have no access to any mylar, can't order it online cuz i have no where to ship it to. so i was planning on trying to use one of those chrome thermal blankets from the camping section at wal mart. the only thing i wasn't sure about was it says on the package "95% heat reflectivity" (i guess they're designed to keep you warm) and as i'm doing a small dresser grow and summer's coming up, i wasn't sure if this would heat up the box even more or what. any thoughts?
