i was wondering how to get a MONSTER!!!! size plant

do you grow the seed in your house for a few weeks on 24/0, and then when the plant is about 6" or so plant it outside in a spot where it gets a lot of sunlight, is that all you do or is there more to it???

im a noob here too, but from the info ive gathered, you should never put a plant thats been grown indoors to grow outdoors and also never put a plant grown outdoors to grow indoors. but to get a plant "monster sized" it would just be a matter of having the right amount of light in the perfect amount of space with as little light wastage as possible. and also getting the ph balance right. having a good air supply and good ventilation. along with some good nutes:rastasmoke:

Actually, yes, you can move from indoors to outdoors. You just have to do it carefully. Like one day out at first, in an area with a mix of sun and shade, then back in for a day... then out again... more sun, etc. Or just make sure you watch it carefully, after moving it out, and bring it in for a couple days if it starts to look sick. The point is you don't want to immediately leave the plant in the sun all the time or it might freak out b/c it has never been exposed to such radiation and temperature fluctuations.

From my experience last year, here is how to get a monster plant.

    1) As soon as your area has had its last frost for the winter, germinate seeds in a wet paper towel. As soon as they start to barely sprout put them in storebought soil (with NO fertilizer at this point, it will kill most of the young plants). Keep the soil damp, but not soaking wet. Either keep them inside under a very close fluorescent lamp, or, if your like me and would never risk losing your house for marijuana, keep them outside in a lightly shaded, inconspicuous area. I actually have a two liter bottle with the top cut off filled with soil to within an inch or two of the top for each seedling. That way rabbits/and squirrels can't reach up, over, and down to the young plant and eat the leaves off. Those animals love young, tender seedling leaves (learned that one the hard way). Once the plants are big enough those smaller animals won't mess with them, but you may want to regularly pour your urine around the area where you keep the bigger plants to keep deer away.

    2) When your plant has gotten 6" tall or so, move them into either a 3 or 5 gallon pot with fertilized soil and drainage holes. You want the pot to be big enough to allow a large plant's roots to have plenty of room. The plant will stop growing once its roots can't go anywhere else. Even better then a pot is to dig a large hole, fill it with good soil and just stick the plant in the ground. I prefer pots though. Place the pot in an area that gets sun almost all day long. If you started early, be the time harvest comes around the plants will be *huge*. Between the full day's sun and the fertilizer... watch out! Last year I had some cannabis trees on my hands. They were freaking huge, like 6" tall... and I actually planted them rather late.

    3) This is the hardest part. You have to make sure that this place with almost a full day's sun is located somewhere no one is likely to go near for the entire spring, summer, and fall. That is tough. The place I found that was perfect was in swampy area way back in some undeveloped land on the outskirts of my city. It was nasty as hell back there. I set them next to a briar patch with some other bushes around all sides so that someone would have to walk right up on the plants to see them. And no one in his right mind would be walking through that swampy area anyway. In the early spring it wasn't bad, but by summer the place had 6-7' tall grass, snakes, ticks, etc. I had to cover my whole body and tuck my pants into my socks just to not get bit up (learned that the hard way too). I also sprayed "deep woods OFF" bug repellent all over my clothes before I went out. And as soon as I got home I had to shower and check myself for ticks. I got some chigger (mite) bites even with all that protection. But it was worth it.

Anyway, the bushes blocked the early and late sun, but the plants saw direct sun from like 10am to 3 or 4pm every day. And they soaked up every bit of it.

In the end, all my plants turned out to be males. :-( But this year I have a feeling my luck will change. Plus last year I used fertilized soil from the very beginning and that killed most of the plants and stressed the hell out of th others... and I've heard stressed plants can turn male easier.

    Hope that helps.
