I don't know how it got to be such firmly held belief that every time you are arrested you have to be read your Miranda rights. TV shows have implanted this belief in everyone's heads. You only have to be Mirandized if you're about to be asked questions about the commission of a crime. In other words, if you're about to be questioned in a way in which you might incriminate yourself. If they're asking you standard informational questions or simply arresting and/or booking you, they don't have to read you your rights.
