If they weren't going to question you about anything and use your answers in a court of law, they have no need to mirandize you.

well they called me for questioning a while back, and they never read them their either. but i thought any time they put the cuffs on you, they have to read you your rights.

I don't know how it got to be such firmly held belief that every time you are arrested you have to be read your Miranda rights. TV shows have implanted this belief in everyone's heads. You only have to be Mirandized if you're about to be asked questions about the commission of a crime. In other words, if you're about to be questioned in a way in which you might incriminate yourself. If they're asking you standard informational questions or simply arresting and/or booking you, they don't have to read you your rights.

Read here. Pay particular attention to the section entitled "Confusion regarding use."

Frankly, sounds like you have lots more serious things to be concerned about than whether or not you were Mirandized.

Dont think they have to read you your rights if your hanndin your self in for a warrent.. I pressume you have already been charged? If if just for questionin then they dont have to unless your getting charged and placed under arrsest.

Id ask your lawyer about it but im sure there nothing you can do about it as it is your word against theres..

if I got arrested, I'd be asking a LAWYER legal questions, not stoners ... good luck with your situation
