    Burnt tips? Survival...

Ok, im pretty sure this is a burn mark or death due to heat as I have no ventilation atm in my grow cab..
BUT I want to know if I do get circulation within the next day or so, will the plant survive?

    Cheers :hippy:

It can pull through, but it also appears that you are overwatering and your soil is too rich (MG organic choice by any chance?) and not well drained enough.

Ok, ll cut down on watering & sort out a better drainage for the plants!
But I have no idea about the soil, my brother used the same soil to grow hops for his brewing.. So i assumed the soil would be good enough for bud since my yards soil is very dry.

What do you think I should do, replant and put more pebbles down the bottom for drainage or pebbles throughout the soil etc?

Whats the signs of over-watering on the plant too ?

    Cheers :hippy:

You'll want to mix perlite into the soil itself next time you transplant.
Since hops are propagated primarily as rootstock cuttings, you never have to worry about scorching seedlings with too much fertilizer. The soil you have may be just fine for a more mature plant, but seedlings are very sensitive to fertilizer, even if it's organic.
Punch extra holes in the pot for now, and only water when the pot feels relatively light.
Just a Q, has your brother seen any of whatever hop blight is killing hops crops all over the world? I'm hoping to put up a decent sized hopyard soon- price has risen to $22 USD per pound, up from about $5 last year. I was thinking I might scrape out a couple crops before the blight finds my yard.
Nothing like a nice bong rip of hops before bed. Seriously.

I'll ask him next time he is home, he moved out with his GF but still grows his hops and brews here ><

You can rip hops? Like dry out the leaves or hops pellets etc

I don't know too much about brewing, my brother is an expert ill ask him bout it.

Thanks for the info though :hippy:
