Bubblehash Question

I've read a lot about bubblehash, but haven't yet made it myself. Has anybody here made it? What techniques did you use, what were your yields, etc?

Has anybody ever tried the cheaper method of not using fine screens and just using a filter to remove plant matter, and then just evaporating the remaining water? (this guy's method- the gumby method YouTube - "Gumby"Bubble Hash Method. Hashish. Marijuana. Weed. Pot. )

Also, if I used the gumby method (evaporating the remaining water to get hash) but instead boiled or simmered the water off, would it be beneficial? (decarboxylation or anything like?)

i love bubble hash, but only used the bubblebags to do it...i do shower curtain hash now...thanks cannabible 3!!!! you ought to check that out....gets you more, and doesn't take the terpenes out, so you still get the taste and smells of your nug...thanks for the good words!

I've made bubble Hash with the bubble bags as well.
we just siphoned the water off and strained out the hash to dry.
we didn't let all of the water evaporate or boil it off....i've never heard of boiling off the water....I've also used my friends Ice-o-lator wich produced some high quality product.

When I was a Teenager like 14, Me and my friends would
Throw like 3 or 4 ounces into a blender with some ice and water.
We would blend it up for a little bit then pour the mixture into a tall wide glass Jar. we would Then put the jar in the fridge for a couple hours as all of the trichomes sunk to the bottom. we would then scoop out all of the plant material,and siphon of about 2/3 of the water.We would then just pour the remaining water through
an unbleached coffee filter so the hash would collect on the filter.
We would then Dry the hash.It made very good hash,This was my first expeience experimenting with ice hash or any marijuana concentrate for that matter.it is a rather crude method as there are no screens or anything,but we were like 14 and we didn't even know what we were doing or what bubblehash was.I seen an old man make a large amount of ice hash in his bath tub and I just tried to copy that idea on a smaller scale.
