Well hello everyone Just wondering if this was female..it looks to be to me, its hard to see in the picture but there is a little white hair looking thing sticking out of the center of the "thingy" i circled. I also noticed that the other 2 plants have similar looking "thingys" but they're still very small kinda like the circled one was a few days ago. Thanks for putting up with my nomenclature :thumbsup::jointsmile:

I'll *ahem* find some more pictures on the winnernet today or tomorrow of the other two after the "thingys" get a bit bigger. Thanks!

Hey buddy....yeah it looks like it's a girl, but i'm not 100%, if you post a pic of the same spot in 1-2 days, i can tell ya 4 sure....:thumbsup:

Schweet! Also don't mind the mangled leaves lol that was a poor attempt at FIM which kinda missed lol cool thing about it though is that somehow instead of getting 4 shoots out of just the internode that was cut, there are 4 shoots on that internode and the one above it...really weird but the leaves look like they've been through a shredder from the cut node up to about 4-5 above it. I'll post more pics after they've had a few more days to flower..thats only day 3 after a 36 hour blackout and 48 days from sprout :thumbsup:

You DO know that FIM stands for 'Fuck I Missed', right? I'm being serious.
I can't see sex in that pic definitively. If you can see a pair of white hairs, great; it's a girl.

sounds like a proper FIM!!...lol...that pre-flower is a lil to early to tell IMO...they all look the same for4-7 days too me...i dont call it a chick till i see pistils....

So the leaves are supposed to look mangled when you FIM? I thought it was cut a little too high and the leaves themselves were cut instead of just the growing "cusp" *nomenclature again lol* i'll report back in a day or two with some fresh pictures including a full picture of the FIM'd plant...1 was FIM'd just to practice and then they were all LST'd but i think the LST was done a bit too tight against the pot itself as the stem was being trained directly next to the pot so now they're just allowed to do whatever they want lol.


On another note if they're 12-14" tall now (at the start of flowering) and in 8" pots, should the next pot size be 1 gallon? And will they need another transplant before harvest to a larger pot size, or will that be enough?

Yea I dunno either, looks kinda like a boy though.

For me I can usually pick out and watch the male fpre-flowers develope. Female pre-flowers usually just pop up out of no where on me. Its a really nice suprise when it happens though. I always have those little green hair looking things right by the nodes, which is like a horrible dick tease. Im like is that a fem. flower.... no its a dick tease

If you havent sex'd it yet just wait for the pistils, like everyone else said. You cannot miss the 2 whit hairs.

k it looks to me as though there's 1 boy and 2 girls here much better than i had hoped for lol. This is kinda a test run with some kush bag seed (couple of plants must have gone herm which was ok cuz then you get the seeds lol) which is why all the various methods had been tried to see which seemed to work the best before using the good seeds lol

First 2 are the same plant, next one is the other female? The 4th pic is the boy :*( 1 outta 3 isn't too bad though i think especially with all the nonsense they went through lol.

Plants 1 and 3 both had nute lockout due to crappy scotts soil and soft water, plant 3 was flushed in snow water but plant 1 just sat in it til transplant into some wonderful ocean forest. Plant 2 never really had any issues cept it looked like it wasn't going to make it out of seedling and now its the biggest lol

last few pics here flower day 5 2 girls and 1 boy Thanks for the help identifying these babies Really too bad about the boy cuz that was the largest and best growing of the three but thats the one that had the nute lockout early so it doesn't surprise me.
