    Fluid flow rates for aeroponics?

I have two high pressure continuous duty 1 g/hr pumps. All of the systems I see have much, much more flow than this. If I have mist saturation though, isn't that irrelevant? I can run 24/7 if necessary.

Why are the flow rates so high for the systems I've seen, and why is this necessary?

Im not sure if this is what you mean, but a lot of diy "aeroponic" systems out there right now are not really aeroponic. They are more like an aero/nft hybrid. They use lower pressure pumps that dont create as fine a mist as the "TAG" techniques. These pumps have a much higher gal/hr but much lower psi. Im actually running a aero/nft hybrid system right now and will be switching to TAG as soon as possible. Im not really sure what the exact flow rates are of most high pressure pumps are though, so i may be completely off.

Say Bro, What's UP???, Hey let Me help You out alittle.

OK, I use Aeroponic's for long time, You need a High Velocity pump to get a good mist!!!~~~I use 1400gph pump's. If not it will just dribble out of the Mister's, & wont water the root's like they need. & it will really Piss You off, Beleive Me!!!!~~~~

My System are not Bubbler's, Like abunch of other System's, It is a True Aeroponic's Jet Mist System. All the Pod''s in each Grow Room drain back to there own Res., Whitch Most of My Res. are 20gal. or Bigger.

Allright You need to do a Sceince Project::: Make you a Model with some mister's, & See what Your Pump can do. & You can use this Model to fine Toon Your System before you get a bunch of stuff You dont't need.

Here is what Your Model might what to lookkn like EH!!!~~~

All-Ridy-Then, Hope this might help You get some Idea's, Good Luck On Your Aeroponic System!!!!!

This isnt true i have 2 legit aeroponic systems neither of which have pumps they use Vortex Sprayers there is NOTHING BETTER

btw a Vortex Sprayer creates soft of a tornado in the water then sucks the water through the tube with angles fins and sprays out

1st im not your brother, 2nd i have seen your pictures and a friend a an extremely similar with the same sprayers and it creted a fine mist but imo aeroponics is more of a EXTREMELY FINE MIST like a steam which is what a vortex produces. also i didnt post pictures because it is a name brand product in which one click on google can show you pics/info/everything

didnt mean to come off like a scumbag, just pissed about some shit, but anyway i was at greenhouse (not a green house but cant think of the word) btu they use aeroponics to grow lettuce and there equitment produced a mist that would put me to extreme shame and it was explained to me how it is only truly aeroponic, if the water particle size is at a exttreme low and this is the only way to evenly balance the water to air ratio so i would say technecialy neither of us probly have true aeroponic systems. but what the fuck do i know
