Get two switchable HID lights that you can use both MH and HPS in. You can use one with mh for veg and then use the two with a hps bulb for flowering. Next grow invest in a 400 watt mh for vegging and keep the two hps for flowering.

This would be around 10,000 lumens per square foot. Is this overkill? The sticky on this forum says 5000 for a sucessful grow but is there such a thing as too much light? I'm not overly concerned with eletricy costs or anything, and want to maximize yield as much as possible. Rating: 5
