I quick dried a lower popcorn bud yesterday, this plant never had the frosty trich production of the other one, it's got a fruity smell and flavour at the moment, i'll have to wait a little longer to see if that changes any with time :wtf: It smoked smoothly and the high was pretty much how i was wanting it, head high to start and a relaxing body stone to follow, peaking after an hour and sticking me to where i was sat, gazing aimlessly at the tv thinking about taking a snooze in the middle of the day, i resisting the urge to sleep and another hour later i was left feeling fresh and able to carry on with the day

Think i'm gonna enjoy this weed

Yeah i'm loving the widow Took some round to a mates house earlier, everyone was saying how strong and smelly it was Made up a story about who i'd got it from, but it felt really sweet knowing it was my shit

Thanks for the compliment on my setup, but as far as i'm concerned it's a work in progress, gotta try a few things and find out what works best for me in there, far from incredible, thanks all the same tho mate :thumbsup:

You're welcome to the info and pics, i can't say if it'll be a help or a hindrance tho lol I'm happy with the results and the knowledge i've aquired throughout this grow and i've thoroughly enjoyed it, hopefully a few people have enjoyed reading about it and some newcomers to the hobby may of learnt the odd thing too.

I look forward to following your indoor grow log when you get started JK, i don't know a thing about outdoor lol

I've already been showing pics of the widow clones in flower and documented my first attempt at scrog so i'm gonna run this grow log for a few more weeks until the widow clones are done. (around 5 weeks i think) But i'll keep the G13xSkunk out of this thread, i'll probably start a new one for them. :rastasmoke:

Let me start by saying, i've not been this chlled out in ages :S5:

The first widow plant I chopped (well the 2nd actually if you count the sick wet plant that got harvested early, but i wanna forget about that one ) has had about a weeks cure now and the smell and taste are really coming out, it stinks sooo bad Can't wait to try the other plant after a bit of a cure, buds are looking really full, it's pretty much dry now (been hanging for 7 days now), another day i think then i'll post up the final yield

Ok so here's some pics of the little clone thats been flowering for 5 weeks, i think it's gonna give a pretty good yield judging by how it's looking now. I reckon i could get close to 9 oz outta the tent a SOG like this one, we'll see when this one's done, it's more outta curiosity, I don't like the idea of having so many plants, but it might work for doing a few alongside a scrog? Time will tell.

It's looking a little battered now, had a little bit of heat stress, couple of leaves have been burnt by the fan and there's some yellowing going on, not bad for 5 weeks into 12/12 tho, it's had no veg nutes, it went into flower after only a week, i'm feeding it 4ml per litre biobizz bloom, i may add a little veg nutes next watering if the yellowing progesses too quickly.

Here's some shots of the scrogged dwc widow.

I've had a few problems with this one, as you can see it's bursting outta the screen :wtf: I've done my best to keep it level and fill as much of the screen as possible, i'm just gonna let it do it's thing now, just remove any leaves that are shading buds. I think it's looking like it needs a trim, what do you think?

Also the res temp has been getting very high, it hit 27C at one point, roots are smelling a bit and looking pretty dirty in places, tho other parts are still white???? Ph has been dropping dramatically as a result of the root problem and i've been having to raise it almost daily. I've had it out tonight, changed the res for some nice cold water and i'm adding a litre bottle of frozen water to the res too each day at lights on, seems to be keeping it reasonably cool for a few hours. I'm putting cannazyme and rhizotonic into the res with the bloom ferts so hopefully that'll help too. Any other ideas of anything i can do?

Oh and in the 2nd pic you can see some yellowing on the leaves around a couple of the buds, any ideas what that is? I'm thinking maybe a nute lockout caused by the ph dropping quickly?

Maybe you'll stop by in my soon-to-be-log and give me some of your advice, for i am growing in a home box xs 2x2x4 with a 250w hps/mh.. Update

Checked on the drying widow and after 7 days it's done, all the stems break with a nice crunching sound tried to do it a little slower but it's been very hot here the last few days.

Pretty much all the trimming has already been done, I took off all the big leaves when i cut it down and gave them a closer trim after about 4 days, there's just the odd bit here and there that needs tidying up a little. I've left the colas on the stems and some of the smaller buds have a little bit of stem but it's been trimmed to a minimum, just enough to pick it up by so i'm not having to handle the buds more than i have to.

Soooo the dry weight is bang on 50g (1 and 3/4 oz) :dance: Chuffed with that

My scales are accurate to 0.1g so i was a little surprised it was 50.0, i was thinking about taking a bit off so it didn't look so suspicious lol Anyway here's the proof

And a pic of the top of a cola. I did take some more pics but i was having trouble with the lighting again, i'll take some more later or tomorrow :rastasmoke:
