Hey pain, i've made a couple of alterations to my drying box, it was drying buds in around 4-5 days attached to the exhaust of the grow box, but the air was too warm (when lights are on) and it was hitting the buds too strongly. To correct the problem with the temps being too high i only attach the drying box to the exhaust when lights are off, temps are 70F, 22c with RH at 40% when lights come on i move the drying box next door where it just sits with the lid up to allow more airflow. The air flow's been decreased in a couple of ways, inside the box where the exhaust blows in i've stuck in some card with a few holes cut out so the air gets diffused ( i think thats the right word lol) instead of blowing through in one big stream and I cut a hole in the lid so not all the air circulates through the buds buts escapes through the top.

(I'm gonna send it back and ask for a replacement but figured i'd need another fan when i sent the RVK back) so while i was at the growshop getting some nutes i asked what fans they had, they guy asked about my setup and recommended a 100mm "Vents TT" fan, apparently it's a copy of a Soler and Palau fan, it pushes a bit more air than my RVK at full throttle but it also has a reduced speed too which runs at about 70% and seems better suited to my small tent, the RVK really sucked in the side of the tent. I was gonna get a speed controller for the rvk but when i looked into getting a decent one that was gonna cost me the same as the new fan $70 so i figure the new fan is the better option for now since i can't do without a fan while my RVK is getting repaired/replaced. Oh anyway what i was saying is that the lower speed the TT exhausts at provides less airflow for the drying box so should slow the process a bit more too lol
I'm aiming for them to be dry in around 8-10 days then i can cure them in kilner jars for as long as the last till I get round to smoking them :smokebong:
Hey Tex, they're around two and a half feet, i LST'd them early on and that helped keep the height managable even tho i got quite a bit more strech than i should coz i had them packed in too tight early on. No probs!

I've done a couple of grows in the past, one with cfl's which produced some nice smoke but not very much, and a couple of hps grows, one went pretty well but the other suffered because of high summer temps. Right so onto my current grow............ About 5-7 days ago I germinated 5 white widow seeds using the paper towel method, I know some people don't like this method but it's always worked well for me. I fold a piece of kitchen paper in half Rating: 5
