how to legalize in louisiana?

Im pretty new on the site, and im pretty curious of how louisiana and other states dont open there eyes to medical marijuana. I would like to find out who or how to contact public officials. If there is anybody else in la. who know or feels the same way any help would be appreciated. Thanks

its not to hard to contact your elected officials. just look them up on the web. they all have e-mail addresses, phone numbers and mailing addresses. also this time of year is election time get yourself registered to vote and youll get so many phone calls from these people that youll get sick of talkin to them. i just talked to Calogne the other day she was pandering for my vote and i just flat out asked what she would try to do for me. this method is especially effective since im registered independent and the people i live with are registered dem and repub they all call my residence. just do a search tho on google and look for state congress men then enter your zip code and it will tell you who your reps and senetor are. you should have state and federal. click the link on their name and bingo itll give you all your contact info. you can also contact the govenor. but by all means do it and do it often the laws here in the state of louisianna are so arcaic and backwards it aint even funny.

but just remember one thing get out and vote in EVERY election. go to them town hall meetings let them know that to get your vote you want certain things and if they cant give them to you youll vote for the canidate who will. get your freinds involved. if one person asks a question you may get blown off but if a hundred of you ask the same question they will address it. and when i say every election i mean every election change starts at the bottom. so even if it is just your city council, vote. dont just get involved with the democratic proscess get submerged.
