'pretty well covered' won't be good enough ... algae will thrive wherever it can find light ... even a tiny bit of condensation inside a clear plastic airline will turn green on ya ... :smokin:
the image reaper Reviewed by the image reaper on . quick question about algae... I changed out my res and used h2o2 last week and i thought it would be a good idea to switch to organic veg nutrient . Well it wasn't today ALL the roots were globbed with brown crap and The reservoir was all filthy brown with that gunky chunky brown algae and organic nutrient. So long story short I had to change the res again today and this time I repotted and used h2o2 again to get most of the brown off and then cleaned the reservoir good. So everything is back in the veg area vegging Rating: 5
